A Woman of Importance

This year, Lindsay stars alongside Jared Leto in Chapter 27, a drama about the man who murdered John Lennon. Other 2007 endeavors for Lindsay include appearances in the films Speechless, Georgia Rule and A Woman of No Importance. Car Crash Details

If she’s not running from her father, Lindsay Lohan is running from the paparazzi. And just like her run-in last May with an overeager pap, the starlet’s evasive driving skillz yesterday afternoon were rewarded with a car crash.
While the AP and most other outlets are claiming otherwise, PerezHilton.com, which we’re pretty sure broke . Unlike her previous accident, we hear that this time, Lindsay was not being chased by the paparazzi. …
After the accident, a panicked Lindsay rushed into a nearby antiques shop, ironically called Hideaway House Antiques. “She was not fleeing the scene of the accident,” a source on the scene tells us. “Lindsay was in tears and in shock and she went into the store to get away from all of the paparazzi.”
Witnesses said dozens of paparazzi had been following Lohan through the area before the crash. At one point, according to Lori Satzberg, 43, of Calabasas, several photographers tried to take pictures of Lohan as she shopped at a clothing store. The photographers then followed her outside to her car.
“There were about 30 photographers outside covering the store, the poor girl just was shopping and they were just like hounding her,” said Satzberg, who was shopping with her 13-year-old daughter.

While Lindsay Lohan, the actress and singer who is usually mobbed by photographers wherever she goes, is reportedly rehabbing in the mountains just a few minutes from the Provo-Orem area, folks here seem much more preoccupied with back-to-school issues and the fate of six trapped coal miners in Emery County.
True, Lohan did create a buzz when she got a spray-on tan at a shop in Orem — but the area is hardly swarming with paparazzi.
Lohan is said to have checked into Utah's exclusive Cirque Lodge drug-and-alcohol rehabilitation center about the same time six miners became trapped in the Crandall Canyon Mine, about 1 1/2 hours from Utah Valley.
Television and newspaper reporters from around the world have whizzed past Utah County toward Huntington, near the mine, leaving Lohan free to travel about the valley somewhat unnoticed."Perhaps it's the mountain air or the fact that she's away from Hollywood friends," OK! Weekly quoted an unidentified friend of Lohan as saying. "Whatever the reason, this time rehab seems to be working."
